Great episode. It was funny to see Toki on the list, as I've always enjoyed that game, but at the same time I can see why you guys would have a problem with it. Tournament Fighters is definitely a major disappointment though. I was expecting a lot more than I got with that game. Shame really. I've never played Earnest Evans, but I always thought it looked odd. I read somewhere (might've been hg101, don't recall) that the odd marionette nature of the sprite is a result of them using multiple sprites for each body part and sticking them together. I suppose its a cool idea, but its not exactly attractive in action.

Also, lol at "Butthole Assault" and you telling Dave he had no friends. Poor guy.

To answer the question at the end, I would love to see a similar episode for western games. I understand what dogman is saying above, but part of the charm of Game Sack is seeing unique stuff you may have never heard of before. Good games or bad, that's always interesting to me. Plus, stuff like Beast Wrestling is just hilarious.

I admit I'm a bit disappointed at the shift to bi-weekly, but I also understand the need and think its a good idea. As was said, Game Sack has a high standard of quality, (yet another great thing about the show) and I'd hate to see that be hurt by a weekly schedule. I'd prefer to just be patient and get the same level of awesome every episode. Plus, you know, there's that other thing about family and responsibility and yadda yadda...

Finally, the previous two episodes were great as well. I appreciate the coverage of Valis, since I've been meaning to check out that series. And the Gamecube ep provided me with a brilliant new quote for my signature, so thanks for that.

By the way, who did the voice over the phone for the ending gag? I have no idea what the hell she was saying, but near the end I distinctly heard her say Game Sack! (I think...)

Finally caught back up on the past 2 months. Good stuff as usual. I'm sad it is going bi-weekly, but I'm sure it takes a fair amount of time to put these together, so I don't blame you.

Regarding the DKC graphics, Silicon Graphics (SGI) was the company that made the workstations that the 3D graphics were made on. The prerendered 3D graphics craze that was going on at the time all looked samey because modeling stuff was harder and too many companies would use Phong shading which made stuff look like shiny plastic.

It should be up in a few minutes. Youtube is doing the final processing now. I did start the upload earlier but you know how Youtube is. Gotta start uploading a few days early now, it seems.

Anyway here is the link to the new episode (which will hopefully be available by the time you read this):

As one of this forum's biggest Dreamcast fans, I want to thank you for giving the console the love and recognition it deserves. Good game choices too. It was unfortunate that we didn't receive nearly as many of the games Japan and/or Europe did, but they are very easy to find and import online.

Good video. The Dreamcast would have almost definitely succeeded if Sega had the funds to keep operating. It's a shame.
