Fun fact, I recently broke the PS2 Component cable after it was pretty much unshielded in its Component board. If anyone knows of a Component-HDMI (analog-digital, 1:1 comes out the same resolution as put in) transcoder that comes with one, let me know. Converting the analog signal to digital for a HDTV as well as moving the video processing and scaling to the HDMI input is a cheap way to up the quality, I've heard (or I could just get a PS2-HDMI thing). Plus using the GSM 1080p mode with it, which upscales it if it isn't 1080p-encoded on the disc, gives you a proper HDMI PS2 experience :3

Hey would the PSOne 5 inch LCD (SCPH-141) count towards the list. This has the best picture for PS1 games IMO, and it's a connection (attachment) sorta?

I think it's just composite, but because it's so small and not traveling down a cable picking up interference it looks pretty good.

I personally don't think it really has a place on my list, it's just a screen with a composite connector, and considering you can eke RGB out of the PS1 without modification, I just don't see it being worth mentioning. My list is more about getting the best possible picture out of your consoles with your TV.
