Interesting. Never heard of it. I swear it feels like there'll always be more JP Saturn games I haven't heard of and need to have.

Got a batch of miniboxes today. I moved my atomiswave carts from GEN cases to Neo Miniboxes for uniformity. Added new pics to the Atomiswave section of the OP.

I take it that all the cases for Atomiswave games are custom/fan made then? What kind of controller does the consolized version use? How much does a system cost and how expensive are the games?
That stuff looks neat and super obscure and rare.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Right, there are no official cases for Atomiswave games. They are typically stored in Shockboxes w/artwork from Southtown ($11 each) and very big. They also fit perfectly in the oversized GENESIS cases.

The guy (Loris Biaggi on the forums; Daniele irl) who created neo-miniboxes also created boxes for NAOMI, PGM, Atomiswave as well as Neo Geo MVS of course. He had spine labels designed for each game on each system.

A bare motherboard is about $125 and a consolized unit is anywhere from $400-500 depending on video encoder. It uses standard 15pin neo geo inputs, however, a modified stick w/neo inputs and 5 button support is needed for a couple of the fighting games.

Original carts run anywhere from $25-400+, depending on the game, but most are in the $75-150 range. Most of the popular games have been bootlegged and can be had for $40each, shipped.

The Atomiswave stuff looks slick! Pretty jealous of those Guilty Gear carts.

Pretty sure someone will have me committed if I buy any more arcade stuff, but looking at those makes it seem worth it.

These are the fat EA cases right? I remember when you were looking for those a few months back.

Since you transferred those Atomiswave games to miniboxes, if it turns out you don't need those Genesis cases anymore I'd be interested in taking them off your hands.

Just throwing it out there.
