Took a bios update, some fiddling with the SATA ports, and some troubleshooting with Disk Management and eventually Seagate Disc Wizard to get the whole drive to detect and format properly :P. Also cleaned the dust bunny army out of the case  .

:): Drives installed ended up having to split it up into a 2TB and 750GB partition but it seems to be doing just fine.

Holy shit that C drive is way too full.

You can stream porn videos pretty easily now ya know. You don't have to download them.

sounds like they need some skilled management to me. not what you applied for?
That's another weird thing. I didn't apply, they contacted me. I have been a successful business consultant for two companies (one a start up, the other a HUGE corporation), and if that is what they want, they should just say so. If it's contract work to form a business plan and move forward from there I'm fine with that.

Previously on the phone they were talking sales, but from the email it sounds like that may not be what they need. I'm perplexed at this point.

And to be candid (on the internet, ho ho) here's where I'm at concerning my career:

Do not want to make the same mistake I did last time. That mistake being making money as soon as it is offered. I need to be more disciplined and not bite at every sparkly lure.

As of now I'm also looking for fun part time jobs that won't interfere with my career search. I need to "do something" or I get sappy and unhappy.

There's a Petco. that opened less than a few miles away from my house and I applied for a dog trainer position, which would be working nights and weekends. I didn't get my MBA to train dogs, but it would only be fun and bring in some extra cash.

We've been talking and I've been thinking about bringing in two resumes; My resume on paper, and my dog.

Long story short, they overreacted and told him they were going to kick him out of the house by the end of the year. I think there are some other things going on between them, but it's a horrible turn of events. I'm trying to comfort him and help him find another place in town until then. If my parents weren't moving and if I wasn't heading out to school in 2 weeks, I would offer to let him stay over here.
That really sucks, pal :( Hope that things turn out all right for you and your boyfriend.
Yeah, same here. I really hate to see bad things happen to good folks. Is your boyfriend also in school?
He was for a semester or so, but then his parents stopped helping him pay soon after starting, so he stopped, and is now just working at a local movie theater to save up money for school.

You guys do realize that just because it is red doesn't mean it's critical right? He has 17 gigs free!

Can't tell if I should be more upset that those drives are all full and none of them are labeled tentacles or the fact that the font looks like comic sans.

Frown: There's a guy in my Bible study class who takes over every class that I don't plan. The topic today was teamwork, but he was a ball hog.

Believe what you want, but this guy picks out the weirdest unrelated scripture. He spoke at least twenty minutes about a passage in Acts where "The holy spirit flew over a group, basically lit their heads on fire, and they all spoke in tongues, yet everyone could understand each other". You can interpret this as "although we're all different, we can all speak the same language", but no. He says "So nearly three thousand people had a light or fire above their head, saying 'dbkjbubdsuibiuigsuiguig' but everyone heard the babbling in their own language. The holy spirit made it so everyone understood every word".

Well, how then did they know people were speaking gibberish if everyone understood each other?

I can't get behind the literal translation of a book that's thousands of years old and has been translated hundreds of times. However, there are some great lessons in it.

Do you live in a dorm too? Why can't you take him with you when you go to school?

:? Coping better with my wife's surgery and the implications of it. Her biopsy did come back and wasn't much help as it was "Mostly benign but some samples were inconclusive with folicular(sp) structure. Not sure what that means other than the fact she will probably be getting the entire Thyroid removed.

:( Her scheduled surgeon has some less than glowing reviews online and nobody else within a reasonable distance will take our insurance or they aren't accepting new patients.
This does little to help my outlook. I know there will always be cases of unsatisfied "customers" if you will, but...."He killed my grandmother." is not what I want to see.
