I am reading that now. Yeah he tried, failed and died after the fact. Crazy. His little manifesto he wrote talks about his idolization of other shootings and how the big church shooting is what put him over the edge and decided to do this, because the world hated him for being a gay black man.

What is strange is his idolization of mass shootings, but felt the need to protect himself with a gun after the Charleston church shooting. How can you idolize mass shootings, but be instilled with fear by a mass shooting?

I believe victims of violence should be dignified in that footage of their demise shouldn't be made public or their remains filmed. It takes an amount of integrity for people to stop with this murder porn that a lot simply don't have.

The dude killed himself, but based off what he posted online, and what the people who knew him have been saying, it's very much racial.

He also mailed in an Elliot Rodger/Dylan Roof style manifesto to a TV station, which handed it over to the police. It hasn't been released online yet, but according to people who have seen it he wanted to start a race war.

I agree with you, but if footage exists that could be profitable you can bet your ass someone will post it.

I also believe that I'm correct when I type that a family member can send out a cease and desist order for the content of a family member being killed on tape.

What this coward may have not realized is the permanent damage he has done to his family. He could have simply killed himself, and yes that is tragic, but now he's "the Uncle of" or "the cousin of", "the brother of", etc... Members of his family will be directly tied to the murder although they did nothing wrong.

Honestly, given the prevalence of weapons and ease of access coupled with the amount of people with mental illnesses (is racism a mental illness? Since even blind people can be racist it's quite a convoluted issue) That's a whole other debate) I'm surprised the murder rates aren't even higher. The bad news of course is that murder in America is on the upswing again after years of decline.
