I have the PC version, which is a point and click. Is it the same deal but you move the cursor via controller?

Agree, Music and Claymation are one of a kind.

The PS1 version is identical to the PC version except the Hall of Records isn't there. Thank god, it would have taken forever to walk through that. The PS1 uses the Digital Pad. Same arrow and click. Controllers such as First Edition Interact Barracuda and the rare PS1 DUAL ANALOG not DUAL SHOCK can use the sticks in place of digital pad.

Skull Monkeys is also good however more of a platformer.

Couple hints for PC version in case you haven't played it lately.
To run in Windows XP choose Windows 95 Comaptibility mode.
To walk fast - press ENTER, type FASTFORWARD, press ENTER.
Hall of Records should now be a breeze.

Entirely a platformer. Hard as balls, too.

But a platformer that even I greatly enjoyed. How can you not want to play a game with levels such as a hot dog factory, the Elevated Structure of Terror, and Evil Engine Number 9?

Indeed, the game is excellent despite the difficulty. Castle De los Muertos is by far my favorite level. Those YNT levels I could do without, however.

They arrived!

I bought these along with Raiden 4 (for $20) recently, so I have lots of shmup goodness to preoccupy me for a while. It was nice to bulk up my PS1 shmup collection a little bit.

FYI, I now have an extra Shooter Starfighter Sanvein if anyone is looking to trade.

It might be the long box version and you just can't see the rest of it in the pic.

Grabbed SFII (World Warrior) SNES off of CL for $10.

It was my first CL deal so I was wary, but it came CIB with every paper that originally came with it - then I was delighted to see that the cartridge was seemingly unplayed (no wrinkling on plastic wrap, no high-score saved etc).
