Happy Birthday Catnip

 : Splurged with some birthday cash from the other day and picked up a 3TB hard drive for around $100. Also nabbed an Elgato Game Capture HD recorder still wanting to make some online reviews but wasn't happy with the quality of my current setup maybe this will get the ball rolling.

:( : Was out of town last weekend and came home to find an Alpha key to Evolve. My excitement was dashed when I went to download it only to notice that the Alpha had ended the previous day :P . At least the Beta is coming in October.

:D - was actually smart with my birthday money to some extent, kept up on putting money towards my savings and credit....even got quite a few games from gamestop and only spent as much as a new AAA game before taxes basically, so I guess that's one thing to be happy about too. Not to mention I also got gas cards so I probably won't be buying my own gas for the rest of the month yay!

(though I am mad how capcom only release the third sequels(both games) but not the rest T_T)

:c nathan barnatt's show was good but didn't get picked up. It was weird, but it would have been good as a 11 min episode series.

:) Mailman made me a happy man when he delivered my copy of Jack Bros, meaning my US Virtual Boy set is officially 100% complete and in my hands! The manual's absolutely pristine too, I don't normally go for manuals but this time I got one with a manual for cheaper than they've been going without, and it looks like it's barely been opened.

:( It's hot enough that my fat head will fog up my glasses, the VB's lenses, or both after just a couple minutes of playing, soooo unless I feel like shutting the windows and cranking up the AC (I've been surviving with artfully placed fans cuuuuz I'm cheap) I'm not going to get any serious playtime with it.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

:? Things are getting so weird since I graduated. A guy I knew decently well who graduated last year died after some serious burns he got at work. The younger brother of a friend of mine's girlfriend has non-cancerous brain tumors, which are slowly being removed. Someone everybody was told had cancer might be lying about it. And a guy in the grade below me, a bit of a spazz, ended up getting engaged to a college dropout that graduated last year. She's a nice girl, but not being out of high school and marrying her... :|
