Saw Logan.
Well, Hugh Jackman did his job, I'll give him credit there.
I guess this is a good movie if you want to hear Professor X say fuck a lot, along with seeing children brutally murder adults via fatalities that'd make Mortal Kombat proud. Also this film taught me that rotten wood is stronger than adamantium. I don't know, maybe I'm just too old for this movie. My favorite part was when it ended.

I wonder if it might be similar feelings to why you didn't like that anime about the little girls being turned into assassins.

I also didn't enjoy the Hit-Girl parts of Kick-Ass, so you're on to something.MrPopo wrote:I wonder if it might be similar feelings to why you didn't like that anime about the little girls being turned into assassins.

Saw Kong Skull Island it's okay not great kind of like the Godzilla reboot.
Post credit scene spoiler
I think I liked Peter Jackson's reboot better honestly. Really was hoping the cast would bring a little more to the table but outside of John C. Reilly I didn't care much for any of the other performances Tom Hiddleston did okay, Brie Larson was pretty forgettable, and Samuel L. Jackson's character was just an unlikable ass the entire movie
Feel like a mediocre script really dragged things down a lot.
Also was a pretty interesting experience because half way through somebody at the concession stand burnt the popcorn and set the fire alarms off
. Luckily they didn't make us leave the theater but it was still a 15 minute delay before we got started again. They also gave us free movie passes after the show so I guess I'll check out Logan sometime next week.

If you're a big fan of super hero movies your mileage may vary.noiseredux wrote:so Logan was pretty great.
I'm worn out on super hero movies personally, and only went to see Logan because my wife wanted to see it. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing the next Deadpool. I mean, Deadpool is kinda the super hero movie antithesis so yeah.

Yeah I'm really over them, but Logan looks cool. I think the X-Men series has had some of the best movies in the genre.
Deadpool was incredible.

There are so many comics that I would like to see film adaptions of. If any of these were turned into films:
I'd gladly pay to see any of them.
If it has to be another X-Men movie, then give me a film all about this guy:
If there has to be another Spider-Man movie, let this guy be the main villain:
If there has to be another Batman movie, then let this guy play Batman:
