Did any one see those Mario and Luigi Remote Plus that are coming out soon?

They're gonna be the same retail price as any other Remote Plus ($40 here in the USA). I don't know if they're gonna be limited edition, but I haven't read that they would be any where.

Take this only as friendly advice... That's really stupid. Every one has their own criteria to justify owning a console. Maybe you need a magic number of games you would want on it, maybe you just need one really good game to make it worth it to you. But, the U has only been out one year so far. That's one-sixth the amount of time the Wii was out before being replaced by the U. There's gonna be many, many more games released for it. The chances of a game coming out in the future and you going, "Ahh, shit, I wish I didn't sell my U!" are very likely.

You know of or like the Zelda series enough to wanna at least try Wind Waker HD. Even if you don't end up liking it enough to keep the console, I would assume you would want to try other Zelda games (hey, not every one likes EVERY Zelda installment). We KNOW there's gonna be a new Zelda game on the U. Heck, there might even be two (the NES had two, the N64 had two, the GCN had two or four actually, the Wii had two).

I guess what I'm trying to say, put simply, is you're probably gonna regret getting rid of it.

So what all do yall own for the Wiiu? I still only have Nintendo Land, Sonic Racing and Tank Tank Tank, but I am planning on getting the Mario/Luigi U's and Windwaker soon.

I only own WW HD. You can call me stupid if you want, but I never got much into the Wii library either. It's not that the Wii U doesn't or will never have any good games. But most of them aren't ones I am going to play or am going to play alone. Sure, games like Smash and Mario Kart are on the way. But I'll just play those at a friend's place. Never alone. They're just not fun (for me) alone. Same goes with all the recent Mario games.

ShopTo tend to get me pre-orders a day early. In the case of Pokemon X, they even got it to me two days early. Avoid Amazon at all costs.

Let us know if there are any levels DIRECTLY inspired/referencing old Sonic Mega Drive games.
Yeah, I will do. I hope there are :D

This NiGHTS world is awesome BTW. It's even got the first boss from it on there.

Why buy a Wii-U in the first place then?

I guess I felt differently when I bought it a few weeks after launch?

You know, get these grand ideas, and they don't pan out. And I figured since I am downscaling everything the Wii U could also potentially be on my list of things to go. But we'll see. If I really enjoy WW HD I'll be inclined to try more LoZ games and keep the Wii U. If not.. Then I don't know. It is something I have to work out myself.

Right now I only have the following: Dreamcast, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita. Not very retro, I know.

I also primarily use my portables and PC lately. Sooo... I don't really even use my PS3 for more than a couple mainstay games and watching MP4 videos along with Crunchyroll, Amazon Instant Video, and such. My PS3 fighters I mainly play at friend's places. I use my 360 for shmups and a few rail shooters. Not much else but definitely worth keeping. Wii U.. generally nothing. Well now there is WW HD.

I've got Nintendo Land, ZombiU, Need for Speed Most Wanted, New Super Mario Bros U, Pikmin 3, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and a few downloaded titles.

Overall I think it's an OK system so far but I'm in a similar boat as ZenErik and contemplating getting rid of it. I'm sure there will be a game here and there that I'd like to play, but I doubt I'll be too torn up over it. I just expect that there will be plenty of games I'd rather play on the PS4/Xbox One.

The only game I can think of that might make me seriously regret it would be an amazing looking new Metroid game.....

TBH the WiiU is the console I've liked most since the PS2 so there's that.

Before I sold my first one, I had basically every decent game, off the top of my head;

NSMBU
Most Wanted U
Monster Hunter 3
Lego City
Sonic Racing
Warriors Orochi 3
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Call of Duty: BLOPSII

along with maybe one or two others I'm forgetting.

Now, I have Wind Waker HD and Rayman Legends. The only one I really miss is Most Wanted U. I really enjoyed just driving around in that game.

I personally love the Wii U, despite its slow start, and don't regret purchasing one at launch.

I own:

Sonic Lost World
Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Rayman Legends
Injustice: Gods Among Us
The Wonderful 101
Batman: Arkham City
Pikmin 3
ZombiU
Assassin's Creed III
New Super Mario Bros U
Sonic & Sega Racing Transformed
Nintendo Land
Monster Hunter Ultimate
Rabbid's Land

The NiGHTS level on Sonic Lost World was awesome. It was like a recreation of NiGHTS and featured I think most of the bosses. But after I completed the secret level, it disappeared and I can't replay it :(
