Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Thanks!
Edit: Feel free to ignore, drunk venting in this edit.
Realized tonight an aquaintance of mine might be my dream girl. Really wish I would have known sooner. Like, her game game collection is bigger than some of y'all guys. And she asked me if I knew about the Yakuza series before I brought it up... gah

You guys know of any good USB bluetooth dongles for Windows 7? Too many sketchy options on Amazon so I figured I'd ask first. Plug and play without spam infested software needing to be installed would be the best...

I do actually. I purchased an ASUS one from a local Micro Center. They hadn’t some off name ones but Asus I trust since my mobo and my WiFi antennae is from them.
It does need software. It’s like that for all dongles I believe. But you have a known name at least.
Edit: a link would help.

That's the one I keep stumbling upon but that first top negative review scares me away.
"Not compatible with Windows 7"

"Not compatible with Windows 7"
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
It's just one review out of many though. It lists Win7 as compatible. Maybe that dude's issue is with the device he's trying to pair.

Agreed. I have it attached to a Windows 7 PC and it works like a charm. I’ve connected phones, speakers, and controllers with no issues.
Buy it and, worse case if it doesn’t work, just return it.

Pretty sure it's the same one I'm using on my desktop at home, though that's running Windows 10.
Regardless, ASUS lists it as being supported in Windows 7, and beyond that, it's just got a Broadcom BCM20702 in it, which has a driver provided by Microsoft for Windows 7.
So, I would assume that whatever problems that reviewer had were more specific to their system than they thought.

So many valid points as why to and why not to sell booze at university sporting events. The one I care most about: barf in the stadium. I'm obviously not really leaning in one way or another, but no matter what there will be barf on the stairs of Dowdy Ficklen stadium on game day. Lots of barf. Lots of drunken idiots.
Kind of interested in if the allowance of alcohol sales within a college stadium during college events decreases the amount of barf in the stadium. Perhaps shown by number of misconducts reported involving alcohol on stadiums that do serve vs. those that don't.
And I'm interested if serving beer is ethical as defined by the seven genuinely approved ethical principles. Nonmaleficence?
