The Ubisoft sale has some good stuff for cheap with a lot of points. I picked up the fitness game for Wii U for the wife, and may try it myself. 50 points, $12.50.

Found out that the Pikmin 3 download I got for buying MK8 had a survey waiting. I guess I wasn't thinking that downloads would have one (not sure why.) That got me to Gold, I won't try for Platinum.

If you need a free 10 points - Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is actually free (but you purchase the game modes) and then you get the post play survey

Another year and another code redemption spree on June 30. I'm set for the Platinum rewards this year and have over 600 coins that I will save for now. The store is REALLY bare right now.

Started doing surveys this morning for the new Nintendo year, just off of stuff in my to do list, I had 100 coins worth. I have a stack of codes to redeem as well, and would not be surprised if i could be at least gold by the end of the day.

Staples in Canada did a clearance on their video game hardware. All items 50% off. I was out looking for a 2DS (found one $69) and the store had a Cosmo Black launch system for $79. I couldn't pass that up. The serial number is seriously low. I should have checked the firmware revision first, but I updated it without looking.

I gave my Flame Red system to my girlfriend, but she mentioned how she would prefer blue. I didn't even know the system came in blue until then. I couldn't find any in-store (the stores have been cleaned out by now), but I found a few scalpers on Kijiji. I have contacted them all and inquired about serial numbers. I found one that has an Aqua Blue launch system, and I'm going to pick it up today.

This means I own all four of the original colours, before Nintendo revised the system/packaging to the small box: Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black, Pearl Pink, and Flame Red. If Nintendo had a better account system, I'd actually use multiple systems myself, but I am not going through the hassle of transferring account every seven days.

I also didn't realize that Pearl Pink was initially exclusive to the Nintendogs bundle. The bundle was released during the holidays of 2011, but the standalone system made it out a few months later in 2012.

Another thing I found interesting is that the early system power supplies are made in the Philippines instead of China.

The most amazing thing is that you can find video game hardware at Staples.

Not as amazing as the fact that they are also a chemicals company. They bought the largest supplier for hospitals a few years ago.

I bought a brand new copy of the first Phoenix Wright and it didn't come with a code. At first I thought just Nintendo made games came with them, then it seemed like everything came with a code. Anyone know the standard here? Just curious. I paid too much for Phoenix Wright figuring I'd buy new for once and I'd get a code.
