I'm currently in LA. Yes, Ack in LA. It's like the movie Volcano, but with less Tommy Lee Jones. I met Popo last night. Dude's a cool guy.

I was shocked by how touristy the area you're staying at is. My drive home reminded me of the Vegas strip in terms of the throngs of people who don't normally live there.

Yeah, Hollywood Boulevard is one of the most touristy places I have ever seen. I've been asking the locals who are working the festival what the real Los Angeles is like, because this definitely ain't it.

Hell if I know. I live in Orange County and a good hour out from LA if it's 9pm at night.

Nah, I never consider any neighborhood where people have more money than sense to be the "real" version of that town. It's like thinking Wall Street is the real New York or Buckhead is the real Atlanta. The reality is found in the poor, working class, and middle class neighborhoods.
