Did they add that mutant lady (Lisa Trevor)? I don't remember her being in the original. Then again, it's almost been 20 years. I think the Crimson heads are new. And for some reason, I thought there was a different way to get the .357 Magnum in the PS1 version. I do remember missing it on my first time and I was screwed. I had to use an earlier save to go and get it.

1- Yes.
2- Yes.
3- Not sure.

Something i love about REmake is that they make the game HARDER instead of the other way around. I love that.

It's definitely harder than the original. The best advice I can give is to only kill the enemies that you absolutely have to, and just run like hell from the rest of them.

Ha, yep that's what I'm doing. I'm burning the bodies that seem to be in the hallways/rooms I go through a lot.

I do like that they added those emergency weapons for when you get grabbed. The knife and flash grenade.

I have to admit, I still have not finished either version with Chris. What's his inventory limit, like 4 freaking items? Damn!!

I have been playing Jak and Daxter Precursor Legacy ... I like it! I wasn't getting into it at first because it required a lot of remembering who said what, and figuring out what that meant for platformer quests. But, overall, I like what's going on. The camera is classic PS2 bullsnot, though.

The first time i have ever played the original resident evil i went with chris because... i don't know. At the time i didnt know hes playthrough was harder than Jill and i found that out in the middle of it. I was "FUCK THIS IM GONNA FINISH IT LIKE HIM" and i did it... also add that i didnt know i could headshot zombies with the shotgun until i killed one accidentally while pointing up. So i accidentally made the game harder for no reason... good times.

Haha. Yeah, I went with Chris on my original playthrough on the PS1 version so I had to keep it consistent. I like the character (although after playing RE4 recently, I like Leon better).

I wouldn't consider myself a misogynist or anything, but I've always preferred playing male characters over female characters.

I love Jak and Daxter. Are you playing it on PS2 or are you playing the HD collection?

I bought the Mass Effect Trilogy via Gamestop's sale yesterday, which is a series I had never touched before. Started up with the original, and man, I'm instantly hooked. The atmosphere, story, characters, everything just seems right. And starting out as a commander who's respected by his troops is a welcome change from the usual RPG start, where you're an amnesiac nobody who then makes a name for himself. The only complaint I have is that the graphics are older and crappier than I expected, but I guess that's on me for waiting until 2014 to play one of 2007's biggest titles. I even owned a 360 at the time...
