I hate to do it (sort of), but I gotta plug my band again :D

A little video action from last year (and more at the uploader - our drummer's - youtube page)

I gotta say we might have been a little drunk that night but we pulled most of em off ok. We've been tightening up and writing some new stuff this year. Also we started recording recently. It will be our first "studio" demos. A friend is doing it for us. He's not too shabby at it. In the meantime, the above links will take you to all we have recorded as of yet. I prefer the live takes.

And also, this thread blew the eff up. Glad to see. Cheers.

No, I'm a vinyl man. I really don't understand the recent resurgence in popularity cassettes have had. Admittedly I haven't listened to cassettes in almost twenty years, but I remember CDs sounding much better than the former. One might say the same about vinyl records, but I'd say that they just sound different instead of one being superior to the other.

I'm into vinyl too, it certainly adds a unique and pleasant character to the sound. The huge artwork and overall presentation is a nice plus, too.

Cassettes have a very 'cult' factor to them I think, I know they've been popular with more underground black metal and stuff for a while now.

I suspect nostalgia for the tape trading days of old plays a part too.

I recently acquired an old stereo which has 8-track and cassette players. The sound is amazing.

For CDs my only options are my portable CD player, PC, and boombox.

Looking to get into cassettes as I could listen to them while working out or whatever. Plus they're cool and compact and collectible. I'm mostly into late-80s to early/mid-90s death, black, and doom. Peaceville, Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Metal Blade, Roadrunner, Earache, Relapse, etc... Anyone know any distros that carries this stuff?
