What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Game servers for an MMO. I'll PM you the company if I get the job. Even though I wont directly be working on a game, they have cool perks like taking a design class from the designers. Working at a game studio is a dream job, wish me luck! (and maybe you get a code or two for this game) ;)

Where's the datacenter located? I know they have an office near my work (I noticed the building one time when I tried and failed to find a better way onto 90 W) but I doubt you'd be interested in commuting all the way to Bellevue.

:) Spent a large part of the weekend playing NES with a buddy of mine (actually usually just watching him play it), which by necessity got me to clean a lot of my carts that I don't play often (my standbys are Castlevania 3, SMB 3, Dr Mario, and maybe Bubble Bobble), which is something I've been meaning to do for a while. During my next long stretch off, I'm probably just going to fire up some movies on Netflix and just do them all.

:( Ducktales is having an issue. I even opened it and tried to clean it, but I'm still just getting purple screen. But there's still obvious gunk on it, so all hope is not yet lost. At this point I'm just using alcohol, I'll pick up an eraser tomorrow or the next day, maybe even some contact cleaner. I have faith I'll bring it back.

 Ducktales 2? That bitch fired RIGHT up. (Yeah. I have it. Complete with box and manual. And I distinctly remember, back in the day, going "Man, forty bucks is a lot more than I usually spend on a single NES game. But what the heck, it's got a box even" as my buddy prodded me on to buy it)
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Go get 'em Stark. Hoping for the best!

Frown: Back down to 147 lbs.

I'm eating an avocado a day for breakfast in hopes that the "good fat" will pack on some pounds. Speaking of avocados, a halved avocado roasted with an egg in it is delicious.

 I was trying to sleep, this is generally the hottest room in the house (and thus the hardest room to keep cool.) Neighbor was mowing the grass in our backyard (which I appreciate him doing and all, it's a nice gesture) and their mower kicked a rock up or something and shattered the window right above my head.

Cool. Great. Super. Excellent. Awesome.
