Man I have been on a foreign horror/sci-fi kick:

Marabito: very low budget and pretty annoying at times, especially the main character restating over and over (for dramatic effect I guess) what his intentions for the actions that follow are. Still pretty interesting, especially F and his relationship with her.

District B13: This was a French version of a martial arts movie. I really liked it. It was a lot of cool fighting, but there was a pretty good story that intertwined those scenes.

Sick Nurses: I don't know what language this was in (it is supposed to be Thai, I think, but was overdubbed in something else). This movie was awesome. A bunch of sexy nurses meeting their end to a creepy (but still somehow sexy) monster. Typical asian horror here, all black creepy girl monster and long black hair attacks. The twist at the end ties everything together and I found it very interesting.

Eden Log: Okay this was technically in English, although it has the feel of a foreign movie. This movie was pretty damned confusing. The beginning was annoying because it kept flashing on and off the screen between a guy walking and darkness (like a light turning on and off). It made me feel sick after five minutes. After that, the movie picked up (although it is very slow paced) and got pretty good. Def weird and I had to look up a description of someone smarter than me to put everything together after watching it. I had a basic idea of what was happening while watching, and I couldn't turn it off, so there was def something engaging about the film.

Also tried watching Zombie, the 1970s movie. I love zombie movies, but I am just not in the frame of mind lately for older movies. I got through about half of it. It was also 4 in the morning and I was tired. I can def appreciate this film though.

Same with Omega Man. Very early in the morning and I just can't take 70s soundtracks. That's the one era of everything that gets on my nerves. I liked the film, in fact, take out the soundtrack and it would have been fine. Except for maybe the black panther subhuman and the fact that I felt like Shaft and a bunch of dancing girls with afros were about to burst on the scene with Heston at any moment. I will have to watch this again.

You should check out some of Dario Argento's movies.

Just finished watching Fantabulosa!, a biopic of the late Kenneth Williams. Michael Sheen portrayed the troubled comedian rather well (underrated actor btw), but ultimately the movie felt depressing and pointless.

ARGH! I've had the Zombieland Blu-ray for a week now and haven't got a chance to watch it. My son has been in the room whenever I get the free time to watch it, and it doesn't seem like a toddler-friendly movie.

I'd mistake it for one if it weren't for all the ketchup!

Sorority House and The Stepfather remake. Both good, but not great.

I have started watching Vietnam: A Television History. It's really great. I'm having to watch it on VHS from the library, because the DVD version is neutered. I hate when they do that, like they did with Alf.

COP OUT

Script definitely needed a few more revisions. I wouldn't recommend it.
