Worst Wrestlemania build up ever. When was the last time the WWE champion was even on television? A guy who wrestles maybe 2 times a year career's on the line? What an intreguing twist! I thought they were going to go w his position as COO would go to Heyman, but I don't even know if he still is the COO. And the only really interesting storyline got about 5 minutes of Punk juggling?

Wrestlemania is coming up? I couldn't tell as they only managed to mention it two hundred and eighteen times last night. I need a full three hundred reminders. And is that the reason every wrestler who won last night stared at a Wrestlemania sign?

Seriously. I'm not a Cena fan. But it's hard to argue when he claims Rock isn't here for the fans ever.

Actually, the Rock/Cena feud has so far been the best built up Mania feud so far. I'm GLAD we don't see Rock every week. Less is more, something few people in the world understand unfortunately. His last face off with Cena was really good and they can ride on that for a while with those well done video packages. I'm glad Cena got interrupted last night, because he clearly had nothing interesting to say. I just think it sucks that they tried putting him over for his match with the Rock with a win over a nobody. They could have at least had him fight Jericho, seeing as how they're not doing ANYTHING with Y2J that's worth a damn right now.

All the other feuds suck. Punk has no chance in hell of beating Taker and everyone knows it. NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT JACK SWAGGER OR ALBERTO DEL RIO. Jericho is being wasted in an IC title hunt with two guys who haven't done jack shit in months, and because he's Y2J, jobber to the stars, you know he won't get the title anyway. Triple H/Brock is being fucked up just like their last feud was, and all because too much effort is being made, as usual, to put Triple H over. Brock should have came out last night and tore Triple H apart, then the New Age Outlaws should have come out and he should have destroyed them too. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU HUNTER! It's about Brock you idiot. The way Vickie took Rybak out of his Mania match to fight Henry made absolutely no sense AT ALL, and Rybak's promo sucked. "Blah, blah, blah, um, ah....FEED ME MORE...yeah, that's it! Feed me more!"

Over reliance on catch phrase = man who can't promo for shit

Horrible, horrible, horrible Raw. Goddamn it why is the WWE so stupid? It makes my head hurt

How in the world is less more in this case? How is seeing less of The Rock a good thing? Especially since he's the WWE Champions, he should be respresenting the company every week on Raw. And who doesn't want to see more of The Rock?

Seeing the Rock less, makes his appearances matter more. What's he gonna do if he's on every show? Tell silly jokes and sing songs? It's not like he can wrestle matches or get into mini feuds with other guys. How would you book him? There was a time in wrestling history when you didn't see the champ on every show. Appearances were special. Much as I love Punk, there were times during his championship run when I got tired of hearing him come out and rant about the same stuff every week, and I'm more than sick of Del Rio already. Fill that time with something else. Use your midcard guys better. We don't have to see the champ every night, unless you've found your next megastar and he's a full timer.

If you wanna see a good example of why less is more, look at Cena. He drops great promos some times, but most of them suck because they just throw him out there every week whether he has anything good to say or not. His promo this week was going nowhere

This is the WWE's problem. Too much of everything, nothing is special anymore

First of all, YES. He can come on the show and cut promos and tell jokes. That's what he's good at.

And secondly, why in the hell can't he wrestle against other guys? He is an active member of the WWE roster, correct? WWE is paying him, correct?

I'm sorry, but less is not more in this case. All it's doing is making the Rock come off as some spoiled Diva or rockstar or something. It he wants to be the WWE Champion, then he needs to man-up and represent the company like a WWE Champion should. If he can't do that, then he shouldn't be the champion.

Anyway, some other thoughts on Raw

I really wish the Rybak/Henry thing had gone like this. Rybak goes storming into Vickie's office demanding a match with Henry. Vickie tells him that a match like that is kind of a big deal and it needs to happen on a bigger stage. She then says that if he wants Henry, he's going to have to give up his spot in the Shield match. Maybe later in the show Henry attacks Rybak back stage or something, and that pushes Rybak to make his choice. Then The Shield could have taunted Orton and Sheamus about how their partner was too afraid to face them and how the Mania match was going to be a slaughter. Then you could bring Big Show in the way they did

I wish the stipulation for Lesnar/Triple H was a first blood match, but it's a PG era so we can't have that. I really want to see something brutal between these two, but done better than their last match. With all the bragging Hunter has done about busting him open, it would have fit. Heymen made a joke about Steph being up for grabs for the winner. I actually wish she was more involved in this in some way. Personal feuds are always better. Triple H/Lesnar would have made such an amazing Attitude Era feud

How about doing some wrestling in that show about wrestling? No need to do promos or tell jokes if you have nothing to say, just get in the ring and defend that title belt. Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot that it's called sports entertainment nowadays. Carry on.
That championship belt would be worth a lot more if you had to defend it on a weekly basis and not just on PPVs. The value of belts has declined over the years exactly because of that. If you're the champ, you should be forced to defend your title as often as possible. No BS refusing to defend your title/getting yourself DQ'd on purporse.
