I remember hating this when I originally played through the game. Who the hell on the dev team thought that was a good idea?

Picked up another Sigma Supergun - i've never owned this model; The AV5000

What sets this one apart from some others is the inputs are neo-geo standard so i'll be able to use a 2-p stick, the sticks that came w/it, or CD pads and it's built like a little tank, so super easy to transport, can literally carry the system and all cables in one hand, a PCB in the other, and you're set. Super slick:

Picked up a Dragon Blaze PCB on the cheap, it's an original but has a few jumper repairs:

citiblocks are legit. Like Lincoln Logs (and not Maxxim Timber Logs, or the other knockoffs) they are each identical so you can actually build sturdy structures.

Skyscrapers, dragons, trains, you name it...really fun imaginative building play for what at first blush are painted popsicle sticks.

"Imagination" toys like that are the best for young chldren. Currently - and despite the fact that they have a room full of books and toys - my children are playing with a bag full of brightly colored plastic drinking straws. They have formed them into hula hoops, race cars, airplanes, etc.

totally agree on all points. i will probably pick some citiblocks up for my son, that sounds right up his alley. he's a big lego guy and says he wants to be an engineer when he grows up (specifically an "imagineer" for disney) so building/designing is good practice for him :)

For being CIB for that price(even with some battle damage on the boxes and a tear on the first one's back) it still seems like a good deal and couldn't resist...
