was an awesome session, guys. Great to have a four man party.
G, looks like that salad had chicken... why no buffalo sauce? And what you drinking?

you need 3 bottles to get to LVL10, homey:
1. buffalo sauce
2. blue cheese
3. beer
we'll get you there, though.

damn, it's alright , i'm gonna do it right next time. 1/3, rookie mistake.
Ay, so I know the series isn't known for being spectacular or anything, but is Army Men: Sarge's Heroes any good on the Dreamcast? I owned it as a kid and remember loving it. It's the ground-based shooter I wanted from Toy Commander, but I don't know if I'd still enjoy it now. Anyone own this and consider it a worthwhile title to own?

Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
I remember beating Sarge's Heroes on the N64 as a kid. I must've been determined, because it's not a great game. Determined even further because it was one of the few games I played that didn't get a silver or higher by Electronic Gaming Monthly (and I swore by their reviews) I think The Dreamcast version is an enhanced port of the N64 version.
If you time traveled and trusted EGM like I did, Army Men for Sega Dreamcast got a 4.0/10. Expect a lot of mediocrity with your toy soldiers.
Edit: I looked back on EGM's review archive. I own 4 games that were well below the threshold of Silver (8.0 average). Army Men: Sarge's Heroes, Jet Force Gemini, Road Rash 64, and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. I guess middle-school Blu didn't adhere to that logic for all of his strategic game purchases for N64.

Sorry I bailed so early... not fully recovered from the Strep Throat. It was fun even though my body wasn't to keen on moving or focusing.
So when are we going again?

np, SB. I think I'm pretty busy now through the weekend. Though depending on how tonight goes, I may (MAY) end up w/ some time. We'll see.
I think Ghudda and Blu both said they'd be around next Wed, though.
...
RE: Army Men... I never played any of the games in that series. Sounds like several of you recommend them, though?
Funny, I've been playing my Dreamcast a lot this month. And it's all been spent on PSO and Leona's Tricky Adventures. It's actually nice that even as a collector - and even after spending as many hours as I have on PSO in the past - that I can still get so much enjoyment out of just one or two games on the system.

I've got it on N64 and Dreamcast, and I personally prefer to the Dreamcast version. It's also really cheap. I'd definitely recommend picking it up.
