If you can fix it, that's a pretty good deal. That said, I bought one of these a while back and was largely unimpressed. The colors were way off compared to those an original NES outputs, and as Gunstar mentioned, the cartridge is fairly hard to remove once you've inserted it. I also had the wireless controllers they made for it, which worked well enough, but felt cheaply made. I also wasn't a fan of the 'joystick' they added to replace the traditional D-Pad. Long story short, since I own a working NES, I decided to sell this for credit at a local used game store. Best of luck repairing yours though!

I had some success today on accident. I went to a little swap meet place to buy Mega Man Anniversary Collection on Gamecube for $10 to play (wasn't there anymore), ended up walking out with the following for $20 instead.

Grape GBC
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Yellow
Wario Land 3
Donkey Kong Land
Gauntlet Legends: Dark Legacy CIB

GBC's speaker seemed to be broken so I replaced it with one from a junked GBC, still didn't work. I soldered in a DS Lite's speaker, no dice. Headphone jack works though, not sure what to make of the internal speaker.

Well, I was kinda excited to get this but now, maybe I should just try to fix it and sell it off. My Retron 3 already plays everything known to man so....

^^ Nullxor, nice pick ups. N64 or DC version on thee Gauntlet Legends?

I had $10 bucks to burn and I spent it at the fleamarket.

I went this morning to get some gas at 7-11. I bought a scratcher ticket and it won $10!!

woohooo! Naturally I went to the fleamarket and I picked up some stuff.

I got a component switchbox for $4.00. Its my second one!

I got some cart only genesis games a dollar each.

Mario Lemieux Hockey, Barney's Hide and Seek game , Arch Rivals, Cal Ripken Jr Baseball , and Jennifer Capriati Tennis

Its nothing really to brag about. but that $1.00 ticket went a long way!

That barney game is actually pretty funny. Every single button makes him blow kisses. Even the start button. You can't pause the game.

And if you wait long enough, he just starts to move and play the game himself. I assume they did that because babies probably don't know how to use a d-pad.

I have a Famicom clone called the Family Boy, that works great for Famicom games. Got it at Goodwill many moons ago for $5.

That video switch box is good. I think it was manufactured by Philips. Mine still works to this day! They retail for around $15.

Yeah, I didn't mean to be a spoilsport but the Retron 3 already has better compatibility than the NEX, especially if you have one of the later revisions that plays Castlevania 3.

Nice find. I have that exact switch box. I bought it for roughly $20 seven years ago and it's still going strong.

Tomorrow is my birthday so i got an early birthday gift from a friend who lives in the neighborhood. Slim ps2 2 controllers, memory card, and 19 games. A lot are kid games but i did get Capcom vs snk 2, samurai shodown anthology, snk classics, and a couple tony hawk and transformer games. All for free.
Gee its been one hell of a year for me ps2, genesis, and a snes all for free. Looks like i might just sell my megaman x on the snes and for the price get megaman anniversary collection and x collection all at once. Sell 1 megaman game to get 14 megaman games? hell yeah
