If only someone would come up with a way to plug in the games like on a r5 and be able to load patches to play some of this stuff in english that we have zero chance at getting on any system :?

Looks like a new Seiken Densetsu game, Rise of Mana, is coming to Vita. Hoping for a physical North American release!!!

It's a good series. Eight games so far, seven of which were released in the US. I would play them in order.

Yeah I originally had the sword of mana release we got on the gba, but I think I either sold or lost that and now managed to the original release somehow  I just need to finish ff1 first though

Playstation TV (Western Vita TV)

Post by wip3outguy7 »

Playstation TV (Western Vita TV) compatible Vita games list announced: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/ ... /a_id/5376

Though the list is a bit small, keep in mind that any PSP or PSOne games on the PSN store should work too.

^ Nice - there are some Minis on that list that you can't download to the Vita today (thinking the first Velocity for sure) that are available.

Even outside of the compatible Vita games + PSN stuff. It's hard to argue with $99 for a device that essentially allows you to have a PS4 in another room. I consider everything else a bonus.

I've had mine pre-ordered on Amazon for some time now.

I didn't gleam this from the Verge article but this uses Vita memory cards, correct?

The "wired" requirement for the PS4 (I think it is the PS4 and the not the PS TV) remote play is an impossibility for me though.

I think wired is a suggestion to be honest. I have a Nighthawk router that I will be testing with the PS4/PS TV remote play to see how it fares over wireless.

My PS4 is wireless and I can do remote play on my Vita with very minimal lag. I think a lot of it depends on the end user's setup which is why they put down wired as a requirement. However, if you cannot be wired with your PS4 you might want to look into some of the powerline adapters which turn your outlets into a usable Ethernet connection.

Edit: Has anyone else noticed that the PS4's wireless chipset sucks donkey balls? Seriously, the PS3 has better wireless.
