Good idea, but how in the blazes would you market it?MrPopo wrote:I'm starting to think if I compiled all of Repo's posts in this thread I could get a book deal for it.
I was accused of stealing a legal pad today.
In Batman voice "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT LEGAL PAD?"
-Um. From HR. I've gone through like thirty in two weeks, as if I don't write stuff down, I forget all about it".

I'm still working out some of the details, but it would start with the phrase "A portrait of a man".Luke wrote:Good idea, but how in the blazes would you market it?MrPopo wrote:I'm starting to think if I compiled all of Repo's posts in this thread I could get a book deal for it.

Yup yup.
I'm staying in it to get to my 90 days. At the same point I'm getting tired of being treated like poop. Even co-workers ask me "how do you deal with that s#it?".
Can't practice my craft, yet a nurse is telling me how do to sales, plus micor managing me like a Mother Hubbard.
Google calendars for next week due Tuesday, by fifteen minute intervals. Word doc daily synopsis. Excel sheets stating the exact fucking thing the other two documents say, and I'm told "I'm not giving you busy work".
This lady lives on planet stupid.
And not the good stupid kind like Moe or Curly, but the stupid kind like Charles Manson and James Earl Ray stupid.
Tina, eat your ham.

I have considered the same thing. If you are even slightly serious about this effort, please send me a PM. I would be happy to be one of the co-editors.

Anyone else thinks that if Repo actually makes it to New York it'll turn into a ripoff of Midnight Cowboy?

I had to google the plot to Midnight Cowboy. Spoilering for people that haven't seen it because I'm going to ruin the ending
