I'm pretty sure I'd give Captain America The First Avenger that distinction. I just really, really loved that movie. And I think that outside of Phase I, I'd probably rank Guardians Of The Galaxy above this one as well. I won't get into non-MCU stuff here...
I agree that Guardians is probably the best MCU film to date. I know a couple other folks who loved Captain America the First Avenger a ton, as well, but I was not one of them. In fact, I find opinions on the first Cap to be pretty polarized. It seems to be a love or hate deal. I had REAL problems with Chris Evans's head digitally pasted onto the scrawny body. WAY too uncanny valley for me (though not as bad as Tron 2). That and I also found the film a little too campy. I think that's what they intended, but for me it missed the mark a little. That said, I think Thor was my least favorite Phase I. But my favorite pre-Avengers film is also a polarizing choice: Iron Man 2. The story had serious problems, but the dialogue was just so good and snappy. I know others who thought it was the worst of the bunch. So I guess it's good they made all those films so everyone can have a favorite : )

well I enjoy camp, and the uncanny valley thing was more "oh weird, how did they do that?" than bothersome. I haven't seen Ironman 2 yet, but will soon enough. But man, yeah Guardians ruled. It was the only MCU I went into knowing nothing of the comics. I was actually reluctant and thought that I wouldn't really latch onto it because of that. Instead it blew my friggin mind because it was so much fun. Can't wait for the sequel.

I liked Thor. I'm not sure if I liked it as much as the first Ironman. They're very different movies. I liked the kind of funny stuff in Thor - like when he walks in the shop and shouts "I will require a steed!" and things like that. I don't know... so far I've not seen a bad MCU movie.

I watched Young Frankenstein in memoriam. This man gave me a lot of laughter.

And now you have $15 less to save for New York.

...though I can't fault you too much. Ice-T deserves everyone's money.

Saw Don't Breath the other day don't go out of your way to see it. It is an okay movie but it's just way to predictable and aside from a handful of jump scares it isn't all that scary. The actors do okay in their roles but the writing just isn't all the amazing. About the only thing memorable about it is one gag worthy scene that was just a little to disgusting.

That's a shame to hear. I had been interested in this one since first seeing a trailer a couple of months ago.

yeah it looks cool.

I'm excited for the new Blair Witch. I watched the trailer months ago when they were still calling it The Woods and hadn't revealed the BW relation.

I think the biggest issue with Don't Breath is none of the characters are likable. The people who you are supposed to be rooting for are self centered thieves who end up in the situation solely based on their piss poor choices.
