Smile: I bought something on DVD that I've been wanting I thought hadn't been released.

Frown: It's coming from Australia. Which means a whole whopping $12 shipping charge! For just a DVD case! I'm paying more than 50% of what the DVD itself cost just for the shipping.

Just wanted to say I tried this the other day, and god damn it worked like a charm, much to the amazement of the people I was with.

So you know, kudos.

Smile & Ticked! Mildly, well I called Costco today after applying about two weeks ago online, damn I should have called earlier! I spoke to a manager and she was pretty nice, but said they're filled up, BUT she got my name and information saying she puts the people who call on top of the pile of applicants. So that's good, but I'm wishing I definitely would have called sooner. lol, anyone here experienced or know anything about the company? I always hear good things, great benefits, great starting pay, easy to move around when you get it, though I do hear they're competitive to get in unless you know someone. Worth a blind shot though.

I worked at Costco for a year; great company to work for. The benefits an' pay are good, like you said, and in order to move up or around you really do need to get to know the management. You won't get anywhere without their help, so yeah... If you want to get where you want to go you've gotta be persistent an' make an effort to get noticed.

Other than that, though, I had a blast working there.

Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.
