Duke Nukem is a funny and self-aware parody, but Lo Wang just kind of feels mean spirited sometimes. I still enjoy the game, but I can see why it would turn people off and I think Duke 3D and Blood are just better games in general anyway.

I'm looking forward to Ion Maiden's full release.

Eons ago I read in one of the featured fan mail in one of the magazines a guy arguing the topic of how game endings is not satisfactory to the player. I just played Diablo II and while I won't spoil the ending, what do you think of how videogames end? Is it satisfactory? Let down?

Which games you felt rewarded and which games you felt it was very dull ending.

There's no thread for it, but with Telltale's closure, the delisting of their games is imminent. Some games are already gone, but you have until Monday to buy what's left on GOG.

(I finally bought Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. I'm on the fence about getting Sam & Max season 3... I love Sam & Max but was lukewarm on the first two seasons.)

Sam & Max season 3 is the best season and offers a whole bunch of originlity up in how each episode plays, I would recommend it.

I read somewhere that Microsoft is blurring the lines between Console and PC gaming, and that the next Xbox will be basically Windows(or Windows based) which will be cheaper to make and easier for the developers.

If this means that I can play Steam+GOG games on Xbox, then this will be a no brainer purchase especially if it will support mouse+keyboard.. Although I don't see how it will benefit Microsoft since they lose money on the hardware and make up for it on the game sales. Maybe they will launch their own Xbox Store like Steam, GOG, Origin, Epic and all others did, IP owners can just upload their game files basically. I was told Steam client already support Xbox controller input for all the games, or maybe I just misunderstood it.

Got the Supercharger hooked up. Oh yeah. Playing a game from a cassette just feels so odd...

Played so much Rabbit Transit as a kid. I didn't know anyone else that had a Supercharger, seemed weird then and it still seems so trippy to use a cassette with a home console.
