You guys and gals are the best.

Thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts as the couple of weeks have been nuts. I think, as this roller coaster has left me a bit blind in the brain.

But that's not a negative.

So more cheering up, I have been interviewing and things be poppin'.

And if you thought I was cocksure before...oh boy.

After getting my results I told my boss the good news and her response was, and I crap you not:

"Hmm. I should have fired you on the spot for telling me you wanted a work computer. I AM THE BOSS, I MAKE THE DECISIONS AND I WILL TELL YOU IF YOU NEED A COMPUTER".

So, yeah. Fuck her. She didn't even say "That's good news" or a "Great to hear!".

And when she said "I should fire you on the spot" I asked "What's stopping you?".

That shut her up.

The fact I found out that I didn't have cancer meant ZERO to her.

If some stranger was jumping in the air going "Just found out I don't have cancer!" I'd hug the dude/dudette. I think most of the guys and gals around here would do the same.

Forget it. I have plans.

Her desk exploded and Luke walked away without looking back.

Some people are just can't help but be an ass and there is no fixing them.

In hopes of putting another smile on Luke's face, I present him with this, as I saw it and immediately thought of him.

Well we get to stop hearing about his sympathy sex with his wife

But I am glad you got the good diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is no joke. I lost my grandmother to it at too young an age (58).

Congrats Luke

Ticked - Had to turn in my work phone for an iphone today. Not that I liked the Blackberry, but it worked well for work without any bells or whistles.

Smiled - iPhone comes with five times the data plan, so I can technically stream Pandora for my drives to and from work every day and would still have enough overhead for my job.

Thanks again guys and gals.

Something tells me I wouldn't get the same response on other forums/sites.
