Awesome time to kill em LOL. I just got back and destroyed em! Another ten per cent with power up rewards. Seriously, this is the time to get in there and clean them out. Finally bought that Prime Trilogy reprint at 25 bucks I cannot complain. Wish they had more games I needed.

Where is CRT? He is probably out hitting them up right now!

Went yard sale-ing this morning. We got a ton of cool stuff for the house and kids, but the only game I found was a complete copy of Time Crisis 3 (PS2) for $5. (By complete, I mean that it came with the large box, two GunCon 2 controllers, all of cords, all of the plastic bags, all of the twist ties, etc. I estimate its value somewhere between $25 and $30 in that condition.) Now, I just need a game room and a 4:3 SDTV...

Going to try to hit a few Gamestops today and tomorrow too. That used game promotion - if properly exploited - could result in some great value.

I find this game CIB at a lot of places for around <$5. It makes me angry every time I come across it because it's worthless and a bad game.

I went to Walmart today and they had a sign about the new pre-owned trade-in program. I couldn't find any used games in the store though, not sure what the deal is with it. Anyone else see this lately?

Walmart is on of the the worst places to buy used games :P. They are really over priced the majority of the time and usually in bad shape :P. Last time I saw any at Walmart they had a lot of the Burger King Promotional games and they were marked $10+ each :P.

Have to agree with you on game room...if you get a decent collection that is hard to keep in one room(or what's considered a kids bedroom) o_O

This was a great weekend for starting my PSP collection! I picked up, all CIB:

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars (3DS)
Journey Collector's Edition (PS3)
Puppeteer (PS3)
Singularity (PS3)
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3)
Archer MacLean's Mercury & Mercury Meltdown (PSP)
Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP)
EA Replay (PSP)
Every Extend Extra (PSP)
Loco Roco (PSP)
Lumines (PSP)
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops (PSP)
Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe (PSP)
Untold Legends (PSP)
What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 (PSP)
The Island of Dr. Frankenstein (Wii)

for about $78 (including sales tax). Awesome!

(I know nothing about The Island of Dr. Frankenstein (Wii), but I needed a sixth game to get a 40% discount. It is probably terrible, but I will have to research it a bit later tonight. Have any of you played it?)

Might be interesting to play that one and tell us what you think :P never heard of it until now and it sounds like a very "unique" game or at least a type you really never hear about much now a days...of course you may have picked up something that could turn into a weird uncommon wii gem :P

The reviews on this one are universally terrible. (Apparently, it is just six hours of fetch quests.) Accordingly, I don't think it will be making it into the collection...
