There's something very calming about the fact that no matter at what stage in my life, video games have always been there.

Whether it's me playing my NES as a kid, playing a JRPG on the PS2 as a teen, or playing my PC now. I've sorta always had some sort of way to game.

I find comfort in that.

Yeah anything I post on Games Beaten is "immortalized" on GameFAQs.

I've gotten a slew of random downvotes. Just trolls, I would surmise.

I'm a little surprised people would be paying enough attention to those games to notice the reviews being posted for them. I'm even more surprised that they would then rate the reviews negatively. I guess that's just how it be on the internet.

FUUUUUUUUUUU component video.

I got my Japanese PS2 today, and could not COULD NOT get the picture to display properly. 3 hours of troubleshooting, even bringing my component only 360 out of retirement just to find.....

The AV port just needed a good blast of air.

Ah, I was expecting you to say the console was set to RGB (since this is a JPN console) which would mean you wouldn't get a signal using component cables.
