Anyways, like someone said: bring on the garage sales. I'm a city boy so it gets me out in the boonies to places I'd normally never travel to. Sometimes it's nice to be in the car without being in any kind of hurry. I do like garage sales because of the hours though. At least I know more or less when to show up if I want to give myself a chance.
Yes! Driving around outside of town with the windows down early in the morning, following random signs to stranger's driveways. Sometimes a game or two even make an appearance. I like it!
It just gets old. I didnt have an issue with your post. I share an 'oh well, not coming back here again' attitude at times if it is just a waste of time. But some people on here and in retro collecting get furious if they cant get below market deals.
Agreed on that point. Those people bother me just as much as the price gougers. We all love a good deal, but they can't be expected all of the time. I think the recent influx of youtube "game finds" videos are partially to blame. As much as I do love watching them, the massive hauls and ridiculously low prices in those vids set an unrealistic bar for most people that have full-time careers, families and/or other obligations to contend with.

That being said, I'll keep searching for the deals, wherever they may be. :)

Recycle them if you can, many places will take magazines in the newspaper dumpster.
Hopefully this doesn't make me come off as too much of a prick, but my trash can is right outside my door... I know of no such newspaper dumpster...

I grabbed a CIB Genesis version of Mickey Mania but haven't indulged yet. I'll be interested to see where it rates with the other Disney 16-bit games. I'm not a huge Disney fan but there are so many good ones.

in honor of the ultimate warrior I picked up wwf wrestlemania for the genesis. 3.00. was a better game than the snes port since you can pull off their finishers. You know every 16 bit wwf wrestling game there is 1 or more dead wrestlers. It's very sad they couldn't live full lives.

Mickey Mania is my favorite of the bunch, mostly because it's so polished. The SCD version has a great soundtrack.

Hey aaron, how is the gameplay of mickey mania compared to world of illusion? I also seen great circus mystery but didn't want to pay 7.00 for it. And is great circus mustery part of the mickey mouse game on the snes.
