The same could be said for Ikaruga. What does the GC version do that the Xbox Live Arcade version doesn't?

I'd say Steam version trumps it w/ online leaderboards. But the game is overrated anyway, so meh.

Viewtiful Joe is an awesome game... but I'm terrible at it, so don't care if it makes the list.

The love for P.N.03 baffles me. Owned the game, and just couldn't get into it. All sizzle no steak... at least that how it felt. Sold it after playing through a few levels and haven't regretted the decision a bit.

Paper Mario has a fantastic reputation, but I haven't actually played the game yet. Still willing to bet it's better than the Wii or 3DS versions though.

P.N.03 is outstanding, I know exhuminator and Flake are big fans, I thought there were a few others too.

Paper Mario GCN and Wii are really quite different. I liked the Wii game better, more my style, but i'm in the minority (I think). I'd be fine with it on the list of 30, but there hasn't been a groundswell yet...

Paper Mario TYD is a damn masterpiece, played it in highschool. Absolutely loved it, highly recommend it, its also a great way to introduce people into RPGs. The combat and story is simple yet satisfying.

I will steam cook a full head of Broccoli. And Cauliflower. Then I'll eat all of it, down the very last morsel. Soon, maybe a day later, when I'm full of flatulence. I'll go into my bedroom, pull the covers over my head, and toops, toops, toops, scoops, bedoop-scoop-scoop-skedoops. I'll go on this dutch oven marathon until Animal Crossing magically shows up in the top 30.

To those saying Viewtiful Joe is also on PS2, yeah, it was, but it debuted first on GC and was ported later. That's different than say a simultaneous multiplat release where there was no initial allegiance. I mean Killer 7 is also on PS2 but no one's pulling that card with it. Stop hatin' on Joe just 'cause his game kicked your asses.
