Try playing Crazy Taxi without breaking any traffic laws sometime. It really adds a new dynamic.
You may be joking or not but, how is that even possible with the time limit each customer has?

I second this notion get one now. You wont be disappointing and will have endless wonderful games to play. Hell the capcom fighters alone make the system worth it and that does not even make up 10 percent of the great game's on this system.

You like kick ass shmups? Dreamcast

beautiful 2d and 3d fighter's from mainstream to the most obscure? Dreamcast

adventure, puzzle, imports, horror, action.....Dreamcast

Talking to odd human like fish? Dreamcast

IT's even got some badass rpg's for the system although saturn wins in that department.

In all seriousness any gamer should have both a satuern and a dreamcast perios otherwise your missing out on the best games have to offer.

I bought a Dreamcast a while back and couldn't find any games that I thought sounded interesting so I got rid of it. Then tried again...bought another one...still nothing, got rid of it.

Not really actually.
dreamcast4ever83 wrote:beautiful 2d and 3d fighter's from mainstream to the most obscure?
Not a big fan of fighters either.
dreamcast4ever83 wrote:adventure, puzzle, imports, horror, action.....
Sure, but I can find those elsewhere.

Only on Wednesdays.

Meh, on both counts.

I've barely put any time into any of the Dino Crisis games. I think it's time.

Now that we are talking about Crazy Taxi, let me produce three random thoughts on it:

1) A record-worthy CT run is around 2 hours long according to this man: And he's really, really fast, apparently at the later stages of the game, lack of costumers begins to be a concern

2) I don't care what you say, a CT movie would have been awesome. Even if the plot didn't make any sense.

3) Crazy Taxi would greatly benefit from a final, revised release that inmortalized the classic by polishing it.

I'm still waiting on a Crazy Taxi 4. The real way to make a new Crazy Taxi fun is to stop basing it on real cities. CT2 and 3 were pretty boring, since New York and Las Vegas are just flat, grid-like areas. San Fransisco is one of the few big cities in the US that is geographically interesting. If they base it off of a fictional city, the designers could put in whatever the heck they wanted!

Yeah that's an excellent point Lisalover, and exactly why I didn't enjoy 2 anywhere near as much (never played 3).

That said, perhaps they could look at cities outside the USA and incorporate somewhere from else where in the world. That might be fun too.
