I do love my NGPC, but I must admit, some of the supposed 'classic' games haven't been clicking with me. Faselei bores me, Card Fighters Clash is too simple and dull and so far I'm yet to be inspired by Dark Arms either. I also imported Ganbare Neo Poke Kun and Cool Cool Jam, but Cool Cool Jam is frankly pretty awful, and Neo Poke Kun would be fun if I could unlock any more mini games, but unfortunately the game absolutely insists on refusing to give me them, even after hours of 'play' ¬_¬
Dont get me wrong, I've loved several of the games I have for my NGPC. Sonic, Puzzle Link, Puzzle Bobble, Metal Slug 2nd Mission, Pocket Tennis and especially Gals Fighters were brilliant fun, but I sometimes get the feeling that people overrate the NGPC library a bit because they want to feel like it lives up to the quality of the underrated hardware.

Re: I Love My Neo-Geo Pocket Color!
I got my first one a little over a year ago, I got a few games with it and thought it was pretty cool, but for some reason I had traded it for a 3do console with games, at the time seemed like a sweet deal, but once I got the 3do I realized the mistake I had made!
Well I have remedied this, and today in my mail box was a nice carbon black NGPC waiting for me with sonic pocket adventure in the slot! I forgot how comfortable the system was to hold and the joystick is awesome. I am going to do the front light mod on it once I can find a GBA sp to get the light from.

Re: I Love My Neo-Geo Pocket Color!
Thanks to vlame I got hooked up with a link cable from Yoshimitsu on GameTZ for a great price!
Thank you again, man, I appreciate the help and the ability to enjoy multiplayer makes these systems even better.
The used system that my brother ended up buying didn't have a AA battery cover, unfortunately. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a spare? Any other suggestions or help is appreciated (outside of buying another system, although that's probably the best option honestly).
I also wondered if anyone knew if there were any cheap screen protectors for sale? Would be cool to have, the ones I'm finding are pretty pricey.
Looking forward to getting some copies of MotM.

I don't know why you would buy a precut one for any amount.mugenmidget wrote:

Haha, I ended up finding two cart only copies at a local game store so I'm good on that front now.
That is a good point. Where do you normally order the sheets from? I found some that look like a fair deal ( but if you know about something better I'd appreciate the help.sneth wrote:I have full sheets of protective screening that i just cut for these retro consoles. Maybe i should start stamping and selling premade screens.
