like many of you guys, i had to vote ps2. The system has a great library, plus all the ps1 games at your disposal would definately be the greatest asset. Plus they are too hard to mod and you can emulate almost any 16-bit and 8-bit system on it pretty accurately, and there are already alot of classic collections to begin with.
second would be the snes or genesis.
