Wow. That's awesome! I wish I could read some japanese, them i would definately pick up part 2 and 3.General Chaos wrote:The Shining Force 3 premium disc. I am a huge fan of the series (and more specifically the "3" trilogy) and this gem was sent to me direct from Camelot in Japan when they were running the promotion. They were kind enough to honor US barcodes to stand in for the episode one spine card and they even sent back the other two spine cards in pristine condition. I even kept the package it was sent in.
I'm not sure what the value of this item is now but it will always be a prize in my collection.

There is a translation for the second scenario now, and I believe the third is still in the works. I'll freely admit that in spite of some effort I can't read or speak Japanese worth anything, though ironically enough I did work on the original SF3 scenario 2 translation team. No wonder it took so long!ott0bot wrote:Wow. That's awesome! I wish I could read some japanese, them i would definately pick up part 2 and 3.General Chaos wrote:The Shining Force 3 premium disc. It's lame, but I'm proud of my complete 32X USA game collection.
Actually, I am just a Darxide and a Gekijoban Sangokushi IV (Romance of the Three Kingdoms 4: Wall of Fire) away from a complete collection of having one copy of all worldwide releases. Too bad those two are insanely expensive and/or impossible to find.

I don't think that's lame at all. In fact, that's damn cool in my book. It's lame, but I'm proud of my complete 32X USA game collection.

That's probably my Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete boxset.
Complete with everything.
Just need that Ghaleon punching puppet, haha. That was a preorder thing though, so doesn't count.

Two things that will make me extremely happy to get someday will be a Sega CD(so I can FINALLY play Sonic CD) and an actual arcade cabinet.
you know it's in the sonic gems collection on the gamecube and ps2 right?[/quote]
Kind of figured they'd have it in some kind of collection by now. I'll look into that. I still want to own the original though and I've always wanted a Sega CD. I may actually avoid the Sonic Gems collection just to motivate me to get a Sega CD actually. Final Fight CD I'd like to get too for that awesome new soundtrack they put it in
I hear it's getting harder and harder to get working Sega CD systems, so I need to get one soon

mate as a hardcore, sonic on the megadrive fan, I have to tell you that sonic cd ain't that good. It's not as bad as modern sonics but imo Sonic Advance 1 (and the mega drive series ofc) is better. The level design feels kind of broken. Can't explain it, but if you play it you might understand what I'm saying.
here http://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Gems-Collec ... B0009SQFGQ.... for some strange reason the PS2 version didn't come out in the US only in EU and Japan (I bought the PS2 version cause the gamepad is much better for 2D games)

Re: What is your prized possession (videogame)
Picked up Sonic gems for the PS2 this afternoon. I gotta agree, I'm a little dissapointed. The only reason I bought the game was because of all the glowing reviews Sonic CD gets and I just can't get into it. Oh well, Back to Sonic 2 thenZeroAX wrote:mate as a hardcore, sonic on the megadrive fan, I have to tell you that sonic cd ain't that good. The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
