ground combos, aerial combos, throws, projectile attacks, magic. And I even ran into a fellow castle crasher being controlled by the computer. Oh yes, this I like

Yup. SNES only. I highly recommend it.

Just beat the first boss, the big huge guy with the board with the spikes in it that we've seen in the videos. No deaths yet. AWESOME game so far! Already I'd say this is way better than Alien Hominid. I just love those aerial combos, and you can block attacks too. The comment in the IGN review about enemy projectiles being annoying. You'd have to be asleep to actually get hit by them.

I hope the game stays this good because I'm VERY impressed so far

Hilary Goldstein is supposedly weaksauce when it comes to gaming skill; I'd take any thoughts of his concerning difficulty with a grain of salt.

WARNING - Just received intelligence that this game is freezing 360s when played online.

Update: It doesn't give red rings or anything, it apparently just crashes the online game and kicks the host out for no reason. Not sure how prevalent the problem is...but I'm sure it'll get fixed quickly if there is a real problem!

Oh yeah, and considering the anticipation for this game(there are already tons of posts on xbox.com saying nothing but, "IT's Out!!!!!"), it might just be normal launch stress on servers.

Hopefully that's it.

That actually reminds me of why I left Xbox Live in the first place: squeeky-voiced kids less than half my age constantly yelling and swearing.

Anyway...I'll try to get this right so that I can rejoin Live tonight (it's a requirement to speak their language):

ZOMG TIS GAME PWNS HALO PS3 SUXORS!!!!11one1!!
