What is the most impressive arcade port on the snes?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I know there are a few, but most are originals, to my knowledge.
UN squadron was originally in arcades, but the snes port ended up better than the original, apparently

Yes. Yes he is.

In all honesty it's more me just decrying Nintendo's censorship of games I enjoy.

In the meantime, I'm gonna have to go find a copy of Final Fight 3 and Mighty Final Fight. Guy was amazing in the SF Alpha games, and it'll be good to play as him in a Beat 'Em Up again.

And finally...they made a game about the UN? And they actually DO something?!?

I too plan on getting a copy of Might Final Fight. I've never played it and I dig beat'em ups. I'm proud to say I own a complete copy of Final Fight 3 in excellent condition that I actually bought in the wild years ago in a Software Etc. used game bin. It's definitely worth tracking down a copy. It's the definitive Final Fight game in my opinion. It's one of the rarer S-NES games being released close to the end of the S-NES era, but I'm sure you can snag a copy off ebay

If you're in the mood for a little reading there's a great article on the whole franchise, including ports here:

EDIT: Hey Might Final Fight was ported to the Gameboy Advance. I might have to grab that version so my GBA can stop collecting dust

It was fine. Complaining that glitches weren't present is nitpicking. Also if you play the beta version of the game (via the ROM) Cinder and Eyedol's infinites were intact. They removed them, and that didn't really cause any issues, it balanced the gameplay.

The game was actually called Area88 in Japan, as it was based off of the Anime of the same name. As far as I know it didn't really have anything to do with the UN.

Ah, I knew it couldn't be true. The blue helmets don't ever do anything, even when they want to.

Also, I think they should have left Cinder's infinite in. Maybe more people would have played him, thus causing Rare to not kill him off via the most annoying character in the game. And no, giving TJ Combo an eye patch did NOT make him cool.

ha ha awesome. I feel the same way. Cinder was the MAN, and I'm not even counting his infinites in the arcade. He was one of my favorite characters, he and Fulgore were my 'death squad'. I never got that good in KI2. I could play, but I didn't get nearly as good with it as I did in KI. Also, Combo was SOOOO crippled in 2.

Well, everyone was, really.
