I think it was about $270 or so for all three Panzer Dragoon games on the Saturn in really mint condition. Got them off of eBay earlier this year from "shoppingmaster2007" who actually sold off most of his collection. Some other really awesome stuff there that I just could not afford.

Sorry, I have to disagree...I am collecting both and completing a Saturn collection will cost WAY more. (Of course, I'm talking about JP releases). There are about four times as many Saturn shooters as on the Dreamcast, and the list of expensive Saturn shooters is longer than the entire library of DC shooters.nick944 wrote:Dreamcast hurts worse, most every shooter is $50+Doctor Fugue wrote:Being a Saturn shooter collector hurts.

I think the most I spent was ... let me convert it from our former currency to Euro to Dollar ... 81 $, maybe a bit more, I do not remember exactly. Reason was that I had to own Final Fantasy 8 and 9 the first day they came out.
Nowadays, being a retro gamer, I do not spend much. The most expensive purchases recently were Persona 3 new for 60 $, because I HAD to play it, and Shadow of the Colossus, used for 60 $ (damn cult game!) at a gamestop. The latter not even in a great condition, but it is so rare and so beautiful that I almost cried when I had to return it to the video store.

I concur, with the DC I found the only really expensive one was Border Down and maybe Ikaruga. With the Saturn however, not only is the Saturn's list longer but even the more obscure titles can fetch quite alot - games like Hyperduel, Blast Wind, Cotton Boomerang, Stellar Asssault SS & Radiant Silvergun are way more expensive than any of the DC shooters.Doctor Fugue wrote:Sorry, I have to disagree...I am collecting both and completing a Saturn collection will cost WAY more. Personally, i've spent quite a bit on my collection, but the most expensive is Psychic Killer Taromaru for the Saturn, it's the only game i've paid +£100 for (just over £100 :p).
