The 360 version will be worth it!

Got Ketsui DS yesterday and put in about 6 hours into it if you can believe that.

I had alot of fun playing and it was nice to be able to practice on the bosses.

Overall the game is really solid and perfect for anyone needing a shmup for their DS.

Thanks for the review (on your site)...

It seems his biggest complaint is the "broken" scoring, but he is wrong. Dying screws your multiplier so much that even with the extra bombs and lives your score will be MUCH lower. There are a few other wrong things or missing things (the ships are different...tapping lock-on for big scores...Doom mode is not endless). I suppose some of those things belong in a strategy guide anyway.

I would have liked a more accurate review, especially since so much time was spent on calling the single-player game "pointless"...

But also how about mention of the quirky "ask IKD" and superplay DVD which are a huge part of the total package? Or how do the controls hold up with a cross-hair d-pad? How about the sound? Music? If I didn't know about the game already, I wouldn't have a very good idea of everything involved with it after reading the review.

Lost of whining about the scoring system. Sure, there are plenty of lives available so everyone has a chance to get to the end, but if you suck, your score will. Like Doctor Fugue said, the review nails the perceived negatives and wholeheartedly ignores what I wish to know.

Anbyone know why this game is so expensive? $60 dollars for a DS game is way to much. I understand it comes with a guide DVD but this doesn't seem to warrant another $30 dollars added to standard NDS game price.

It's pretty niche, and also PlayAsia exist to screw non-japanese gamers for as much as they are able... I'm yet to pick up a copy, and may end up r4'ing it due to the high price... I want to support the publishers, but PlayAsia's cut is obviously c.50% of their retail, which totally pisses me off. Competition is good for business, pity PlayAsia has none to mention (Please - tell me I'm wrong about this!)

NCSX is our domestic choice here in the states. They've got Japanese toys as well as games, and their shipping on larger items is cheaper, since they're here. Only cost me about 13 bucks to get my Japanese Xbox shipped from them to Missouri. Another advantage is that there's no international transaction fee on your credit card statement (Citigroup charges).

I played Death Label on my M3 Real. I like it. It's intense, exciting, and easy to get into. Since the secondary weapon seeks out the enemy, you can focus on dodging enemy gunfire. Like Radiant Silvergun, you don't blow up until you get shot in the center of your ship. I also like the "auto-bomb" feature where if you get hit, the game slows down and gives you a shield to navigate your way out of harms' way. This game gives you every chance to succeed. Challenge without any cheap horseshit.

Another thing I really like is how the game is divided into nice, bite size chunks. Perfect for on the bus or waiting in the Doctor's office. As you can tell, I really like this game. When (positive thinking, here) this game gets translated and released in the states, I'll be at my local GameStop purchasing a copy.

I held off on buying this one for now because of the price tag. $45-$50 is about where I'd cap out on paying for an import DS game. Even if they made a Raiden game for DS I think I'd have to say no if it was more than that. Planning on setting up a pre-order for the upcoming Xbox 360 import though.
