EDIT:
I'm currently LOLing at PhilExile with his conspiracy theories abound! ZomG111! Don't download files they have hidden virus in them! I think if you are silly enough to execute a file without either checking it or scanning it for viruses then you deserve all you get.

Further more if you don't backup and you lose your files. Oh well. Shoulda backed up. It's your problem.
Hah, ya, your right, I'm sure things like preloaded viruses on XP install discs would never make their way to the torrent networks.... i must be paranoid.....

happy downloading h4x0r! ;)
Even more reason to buy legit then right?

Yeah thought so. If you pirate you should be well aware of the risk. Simple as.

Any more 'arguments'?

Also regarding the mac gaming debate. There's quite a lot of games for mac, plus modern macs can run Windows as well as Virtualisation which also runs quite a few non-mac games.

I bought my Mac because I create music for a living. I need Logic Pro, I also use Max/MSP all the time and again this runs better on OS X.

I did not intend to turn this into a PC vs Mac debate. But I will say that I do not consider myself an expert at pcs, I still have trouble in Linux most of the time, but I do know my way around them. I also have been running windows since 2 (2 - vista) and have only had only a handful of major virus problems. Those were usually brought on by forgetting to have a firewall up or by a family member or "friend" use it for a time... Sure nowadays you can have multiple computers so no one touches your one fairly easily, but back when a p2 cost upwards of $700 by itself it came down to simple logistics and money matters. Vundo I remember getting by going to a link on a message board to some java based picture server - stupid I know but it happens.

Needless to say, Ack you should just use that Mcafee you paid for through your tuition to Auburn all those years and adaware. Granted Hijackthis is always handy to have around.

As for Mac gaming, lets not even get into that.

That McAfee is still running strong...on my laptop. The one that dies of heat failure after half an hour. Actually, Face set me up with that AVG...the rest of you don't know Face, but Fastbilly does.

As far as Mac gaming is concerned...there was Escape Velocity. You don't NEED other games when you have Escape Velocity. But for most of my gaming needs, Windows will do. I've been using it since 3.1, and I'm usually careful so nothing too bad happens. This was me making a mistake after a long weekend.
