Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

well aside from the numerous health risks from being overweight. I understand that nobody should poke fun at somebody because of your weight but it isn't something people should be ok with.
Anyways, these people need to shut the hell up. This has nothing to do with idealizing women to be slender. this is a silly gameplay concept in a silly game (that actually looks pretty cool). Get a fucking grip.
Aside from the factor there is a difference between fat and obesity. One may have health risks, but being fat is far from unhealthy. It probably could be argued abnormally skinny is a bigger health risk then fat.
Unless you mean having a larger bone structure or a wide frame, then no, it is still unhealthy to be overweight. There's a reason why it's called overweight, the phrase isn't just there for show. there is a healthy weight range for any individual, and going to far over or under can lead to serious health problems. That isn't to say that being anorexic or underweight is good either. t came be just as if not more harmful in come cases, but he didn't say there's nothing wrong with being underweight, he addressed being overweight, so I in turn addressed that.

I have nothing wrong with people who are fat or extremely skinny. It's when I see people who ignore the needs of their body to stay at a stupid unrealistic standard set forth by the media, or when people refuse to take action to get in good shape, that's what upsets me.

...also I've been volunteering in a near by hospital OR recently so when I see people taking themselves for granted it kinda pisses me off. (Wheeling an infant on full life support to surgery and later on seeing it split open is not a sight I'll soon forget.)
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

You know, according to those same standards that they currently use to measure this, President Bush is overweight. The current weightscale that I always see tossed around doesn't take into consideration muscle mass, bone structure, etc. It just gives numbers.

yeah, but i guess what i didn't make clear before. What I was trying to get at are the more extreme cases. when people are noticeable overweight.
