My all time favorite list is:

The Clash
Devo
The Aquabats
Andrew W.K.
The Mars Volta

But as of right now I'm mostly listening to:

Weezer
The Rentals
The Hellacopters
Pavement
Chromeo

I've been a fan for a long time. What albums have you been listening too? I really like the first couple albums, but all of thier stuff is good. I picked up the expanded versions of the first too a couple months back. Lots of cool b-sides. I saw them on the Slanted and Enchanted tour, awesome show. Have you checked out any of Stephen Malkumus and the Jicks? Some pavement fans weren't into it, but I liked the second album Pig Lib alot.

This shit is far to difficult for me I can pick 4 bands which are undoubtedly my favorite but the 5th spot is to hard to choose

All great bands, indeed. I prefer At the Drive-In over Mars Volta, however.

For me, this list is especially tough, but right now it's:

Isis (They're getting bigger, and deservedly so. They opened for Tool two years ago, and Justin Chancellor played bass on a previous cd.)
Mogwai
Sigur Ros
Mastodon (I met these guys after my friends opened for them. w00t!)
Godspeed You! Black Emperor

Too hard to limit to five and like several others have said, favorites of the moment tend to change. Certainly included in my all-time list (if I had one):

Pavement (Give it a Day)
Dinosaur Jr. (In a Jar)
Modern Lovers (Dignified and Old)
Art Brut (Modern Art)
Elf Power (The Well)
