I should have mentioned sports games.
The only exception is something like NBA Jam or Super Baseball 2020.

Can't really say I dislike any one genre. I have a fear of missing a good game simply because of something like pre-disposition to dislike. I do tend to overlook certain genres, though, mainly sports games and Sims-esque games.

I forgot, I might rather dislike sports titles but I really enjoy any version of video game golf (Hot Shots, The Skins Game, etc)~

Super Baseball is good too. Also, I did enjoy some Blades of Steel back in the day. Probably just for the fights, not the actual hockey. hehe

I would've said I don't like Sports, but then I thought of Skate, THPS 1/2/3/P8, then thought a bit harder and remembered I like Forza Motorsport, Gran Turismo... I guess if you say sport as just football, american football, rugby, tennis, baseball. Then i don't like Sports games, but I do like Virtua Tennis, is wii sports a sports game? cos I like that... Genres are so ambiguous these days.

I can't stand sports games(yes, even NBA Jam), racing games(excepting MarioKart), and I'm really not a fan of RTS games anymore...

That's funny. At least it doesn't make you feel like your avatar. Now that is hilarious.

It's hard to say if there's any genre I truly dislike, but these are the ones I don't play too much of:
Third person and first person shooters, unless there is something about them that I find unique and interesting, which does happen from time to time.
I don't usually touch sports games unless they are not very serious like Sega Soccer Slam, NBA Jam, etc. I can also get into stuff like SSX Tricky, Tony Hawk or pro wrestling games. Overall though, sports games are a small part of my library.
Never been big on survival horror, although I have enjoyed a few games in that genre.
I don't usually play puzzle games like Tetris for example. I look for an experience when I game, an escape from reality which I don't get from puzzle games.
Despite being impressed by the Grand Theft Auto games, I find that I don't usually like sand box games much. I prefer linearity in my games, though I can appreciate a little bit of freedom, but not so much that it becomes easy to get side tracked. I appreciate linear, controlled games because it gives game makers more control in creating a certain experience for gamers, and there's less pointless crap like you get in sand box games. I like focus, nothing more annoying than getting lost or sidetracked in a game. Or having like a hundred possible missions with half of them being fun, and the rest half-assed.
I don't play many bemani or music based games, though I love Space Channel 5 and Bust a Groove.
I don't play many shmups, though I have opened up to the genre a bit more with my Saturn.
Rpgs are an interesting genre for me because I also mentioned them in the favorite genre topic. I really enjoy the ones I do play, but I avoid a lot of them because they are so time consuming. Plus, there's such a large number of japanese rpgs and so many of them just seem like clones of eachother.
Though it's not a genre I seldom play PC games. I don't like all the updating, patches and all that complicated crap. It's plug and play console gaming for me. Plus, I don't really enjoy playing games with a keyboard.
I think that's it.

sports games. I especially detest football (soccer to you american folk) games which are rife in europe.
