My childhood best friend had that one, it was surprisingly really good and had all the real players, I was jealous bigtime

Shout-out to Roger Clemens MVP Baseball on Game Boy which kept me entertained through many, many long boring trips through Iowa

Still fun to me and I'm not a baseball fan anymore. The music still sticks in my head. I was impressed in the mid 90s hearing speech on a portable.

Nice! I love how they even have the pitcher nodding animations :D

I search for the game on YouTube and, of course, you Review came up first :D
Great review — I’m going to keep an eye out for the cartridge on the cheap!

SNESdrunk wrote:I've played a gazillion baseball games over the years, and none have topped Griffey Presents MLB for Super Nintendo. I love the careful balance of goofy caricatures and arcade-ish style gameplay, and the baseball physics are reliable and consistent.

One that's really under the radar that I really enjoy is Dynamic Stadium for Super Famicom, it's English-friendly despite never being released outside of Japan, but that's another one that nails the balance between batting pitching and fielding.

A while back I made a video briefly looking over each SNES/SFC baseball game:
Great video! This handles the SNES section perfectly for my agenda. I like your approach to grading :)

While watching SNESDrunk's video, I noticed the ESPN game. I always remember thinking that title looked cool back in the day. It really looks like it was design for screenshots. It "looks" really cool for the SNES baseball game, but I can totally understand how it hampers the actual play.

Side note: I have always enjoyed the cover art for Extra Innings on the SNES.
I've never played it, but it looks good.
And I kinda want a poster of the artwork and I'm keeping an eye out for a boxed copy of the game (I don't usually collect SNES boxes)

I've never considered that before, that's a fantastic point. In still shots, the game looks really cool. In practice, it's horrendous (see also: Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball)

Yeah, I remember thinking the Frank Thomas one looked pretty cool back in the day as well. I'm hoping to watch your first-party Genesis sports game video soon, but I'll put in a request to do a Genesis baseball video like you did for the SNES, but I understand if you don't want to "diversify" too much ;)

Wow if I were that into sports games that Dynamic Stadium game on SFC looks fantastic, almost Baseball Stars 2 like. That one is well under the radar with very little info and less videos of it online. Best one seems to be this where someone finally breaks it down:
