I don't like football, but as a New Orleans native, I'm an obligatory Saints fan. That's half the reason I don't keep up with football; it's less depressing that way.

I'm sure being a Lions fan is a lot like being a Mississippi State fan at the college level. Losing is the norm for us (although beating LSU this year was pretty sweet).

Well we have made the playoffs, and this is a genuine surprise as we look good. We destroyed handedly the giants and the cardinals, and we should have beaten Atlanta if it wasn't for the stupid quirks of the review rule.... seriously... 8 seconds left on the clock and we threw a touchdown, they review it, say it isn't, charge us 10 seconds for the mandatory review.... game over we lost.

If they hadn't called it a touchdown we would have had another chance... so stupid!

That... that is a stupid, stupid rule.

Also, didn't know you were from New Orleans, Elkin. Look on the bright side, at least the Saints actually won a Super Bowl! Seriously, everyone around here was rooting for them... even me to some extent, even though they were playing against Peyton Manning. That was a win-win year for me, and I think the climes of Hell were a little chillier after they pulled off that victory.

Always made me happy when Peyton lost. Except when against the pats then I rooted for him.

Well, he lost a lot, so you got your wish pretty often!

Definitely feel you on the Patriots, usually can't stand 'em. Didn't hate it quite as much this year, because I'm not much of an Atlanta fan either, but I hated to see them lose the way they did.

I always liked peyton, of course being a UT fan, I've watched him alot. He seems like a good guy also. Now his brother Eli, I get a kick out of him losing. The faces he makes are hilarious lol.
