There are likely plenty of AI type examples too, or we'll have them to compare to eventually (it seems like we were still getting things half targeting old platforms until somewhat recently). I think what makes things odd for current gen, as I'd mentioned earlier in the thread, is that development is so multiplatform. It's almost more like the next gen of consoles will just be able to run at settings reserved for the PC version now (to start), and back-end stuff trickles in over time, eventually resulting in things that previous machines would have little hope of replicating.
