1982 was a good year.
Indeed.
If I look at my RFGeneration profile and sort by year 1982 ends up the clear winner. This was the golden age of second gen gaming. So many great Atari, Intellivision, and ColecoVision games hit the shelves that year.

I've never played the arcade version, but my earliest gaming memory was playing the Dreamcast version on my dad's Dreamcast. It's still one of my favorite video games to this day and it's one that I pull out every time friends come over.
Dang! I didn't think anyone else was younger than me on here!
1996: I'm fairly spoiled for choice here with stuff like Star Ocean and Mario 64, but I'm gonna go with Kirby Super Star Ultra! That's like, one of my favorite SNES games, let alone just from my birth year.

1975... Not to many to choose from, but an important release: Sears and Atari release the first Pong home console.

I've hardly played any games from 1989, I suppose Duck Tales would be the best game that year.

No, I'm not going to tell you what year that came out, shut up!
(I did seriously spend a lot of time playing this game later in life, though. LOTS of time. SO FUN!)
Came here to say this, because I'd have said the same thing. Not much to pick from our year.

I'm trying to collect games from every year since 1972 and that's really all there is from '75.
Fun fact: I don't think there were
any home games released in 1974.

1986 for me as well, and I'm definitely gonna say Outrun.

Asteroids, Adventure or Galaxian. I played a lot of Galaxian as a kid, so I will go with that.
