I haven't really played much this year outside of new releases :P. Would definately have to say it's a toss up between Doom(2016) and Titan Fall 2 though. Doom probably takes the cake for single player but TF2 is definitely the best multiplayer I've sunk time into this year.

My brother bought Titanfall 2, and he said it was awesome. I plan on giving it a go after I finish the rest of the content in Rise of the Tomb Raider. (I've already hit 100%, just gotta do the Croft Manor stuff and one of the DLC missions that isn't integrated in the campaign.

I'll probably be working on Rise of the Tomb Raider for another week. I'm only at like 32%, but I'm going way more completionist than usual with this game.

It really is worth it. Maybe not from a rewards standpoint, but the game is good enough that I find it rewarding just to poke around. My only gripe is that the challenges can really be a pain at times. The others are a bit easier, since you can find the Explorer's Satchels / Maps / Monoliths that reveal item locations.

By the way, the double/triple/headshot skill line for the bows is awesome. Automatic triple headshots? Yes, please.

I've been using the gold bolt action rifle for the most part since it has a silencer now. Yeah, if I don't 100% the game, the challenges will be what I skip (and skipping those is still a big "if" right now; it will depend largely on how I feel after finishing everything else).

Yeah, the bolt-action rifle is excellent as well. I used it when I needed more punch.

My philosophy is almost always "go big or go home," so I always use the bolt action rifle and the revolver for my pistol.

updating this a bit...
Games from 2016 I have finished:
That Dragon, Cancer - PC
Firewatch - PS4
Street Fighter V - PS4
Far Cry: Primal - PS4
Doom (2016) - PS4
Uncharted 4 - A Thief's End - PS4
Amplitude - - PS4
Battleborn - PC
Bound - PS4
Destiny: Rise of Iron - PS4
Eve Valkyrie: Gunjack - PSVR
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood - PSVR
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Jackal Assault VR
Thumper - PSVR
Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre - iOS
Trackmania Turbo (VR Campaign) - PSVR
Gears of War 4 - Xbox One
Caladrius Blaze - PS4
Dariusburst Chronicles - PC
Assault Suit Leynos - PS4
Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet - PS4
ABZÜ - PC
There's Poop in my Soup - PC

Games from 2016 that I am realistically hoping to hit an ending on by the end of the year:

The Last Guardian - about 20% in so far
Titanfall 2 - starting this tomorrow
Song of the Deep - about 25% done so far
Forza 3 Horizon
Super Duper Party Pooper

Games from 2016 that I played that I can't or don't want to finish (at least not before the year is out)
The Division
No Man's Sky
Space Moth DX
Any glaring omissions? Things you think I should play that released this year and can realistically be folded in to the last few weeks that would be a reasonable contender for your top three?
