Sort out which DVDs to keep to prevent duplicate episodes

An Episode and Title listing of all the compilation DVDs in the Spoiler below. Sponge Bob has a huge following resulting in a large amount of DVD compilations. The animation were released as random episode cartoons on various DVDs and then by random episode mixed DVD box sets. This has led to repeat episodes and some episodes not released on the compilations. Nickelodeon followed thru by a much more organized method of Season DVDs, but for the earlier seasons in oversized cases taking up shelf space. Frustrating if one had already amassed a huge collection of random episode DVDs and did not want to invest again in the Season DVDs route.
I have 13 compilation DVDs that contain random episodes of season 1 thru 4 with some repeats, none contained my favorite Sponge Bob episode Rock Bottom" from Season 1. Anyone who missed a bus or flight connection can relate to this hilarious episode. The cartoon was never released on any U.S. compilation DVD and finally pressed on the Season 1 disc.

Sponge Bob Square Pants: The First 100 Episodes - $7.00 BookOff
I recently discovered that the first five seasons are on one compilation; 14 discs in a single thick case and at a very decent price. This a much better value and a reduction in shelf space over the repeat episodes on the individual compilation DVDs
Sep 22, 2009 pressing - Plastic case, lenticular slipcover, multiple plastic slim cases inside
Amazon - $86.36 -
May 23, 2017 2nd edition pressing - Single plastic case with multiple disc trays inside
Amazon - $32.96 -

The 100 episode DVD first came out in 2009 at the ten year anniversary and a repressing earlier this year. Hopefully a season 6 thru season 10 compilation will come out next year or maybe at the twenty year anniversary in 2019? For now a good hold over collecting entire series; many of the memorable funny episodes are on the first five seasons.

In celebration of Sponge Bob's 10th anniversary, Paramount has amassed the first 100 episodes of the hit series – which takes us through season five. The show has helped further shape 2-D animation, keeping it alive in a time where CG is highly favored, even on TV. Sponge Bob Square Pants is presented in full frame spread across 13 discs. The 14th disc houses an assortment of special features. Quality here is pretty consistent with the original non-HD broadcast versions of the show. The prints themselves are remarkably clean with very few specks of dust or dirt on the intermediate transfer.
With a little luck, Sponge Bob Square Pants will continue to be around for a long time, providing fresh original comedy for adults and kids alike. This DVD presentation is outstanding, packed with a decent assortment of extras, a snazzy case and a pretty solid A/V presentation. If you don't already own the first 100 episodes, I'd highly suggest picking this set up. The discounted price, if nothing else, should appeal to fans who've yet to purchase the first five seasons. Hopefully Paramount will follow-up this set with future collections.
