These keep getting better, Dave! I'd like to see you tackle a puzzler like Tetris or Puyo Puyo.

In lieu of video game requests, I have been doing more "other things". Here's a stab at a landscape made from a photo.

*jerk alert - jerk alert - jerk alert*

I don't get it? I'm not familiar w/the software, but...are these hard to do or artistic or something? Trying to frame this as polite as possible, Dave - so sincerely, no offense intended, but I really don't understand? Can you explain the process and what is interesting here?

Some take a few minutes, some take a few hours. I am using the Adobe program "Sketch" on an iPad Pro with an Apple pencil. "Artistic or something" is probably fair, lol. I think some are pretty akin to something a kid would do with watercolors (or other materials), but some are much more intricate and interesting in their use of color, texture, technique, etc. I just hope that some people dig some of them as much as I do, and if not that's cool too. If people have suggestions for improvement, or for subjects, or for certain styles they think I do better than others, I would welcome any kind of constructive feedback :)

Don't worry, you aren't being a jerk. It would be totally fair to read this thread as the "Dave Trolls Us with "Art"" thread, but it really isn't.

Woah, I really like that landscape interpretation.

New request: a portrait of a Dry Bones! <3

I wouldn't normally compliment you, because well, our history. BUT, the "Mario & Luigi Ponder Exhaustion" painting you did was legit genius. I say that as someone who appreciates abstract art. (My all time favorite painter is Rothko.)

If you ever get super bored, paint a King's Field painting! As in, what the series seems like it would be to you. Or just keep on painting whatever, it's all good. 8)
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Better yet, make a painting based directly on my favorite Ex rap line:

"when you sleepin' I'm creepin' through another King's Field"

It was one of my favorite things.

Maybe it is the years, maybe it is the recent almost-hiatus from the site...but I genuinely forget that we have had beef in our history, nor can I imagine what it would have been about. Sorry for any hard feelings, and thanks for the constructive criticism :)
