Those ass holes in Europe got a nice physical release with Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls on one PS4 disc.

They also got a physical release collecting The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition and LeChuck's Revenge Special Edition on one disc! (I, for one, will be importing that one.)

They also got physical releases of Zombi, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, and Zombie Army Trilogy on PS4 (although I think we eventually got the last one). I imported all three of those.

Nier is flawed, but it's still one of my favorite games ever so I must highly recommend it.

The Tales games are also great on PS3.

In terms of more RPG's, White Knight Chronicles are a fun whack. If you liked Dragon Age Origins you'll probably like those because they're in a similar style gameplay-wise.

Some others I'm looking at:

Drakengard 3
Asuras Wrath
Fist of the North Star
Possibly some JRPGs? I've never been big on them, but I know flat out nothing about them
I'm also sure there's some under the radar Japanese games I haven't heard of
Interested in hearing more about Way of the Samurai
I do want to pick up a Suda51 game, just not sure which. Lollipop Chainsaw, Shadows of the Damned, or Killer is Dead

Asura's Wrath is worth it just for the story and the spectacle, even if the brawler is only average and the other parts are just QTE's. That game is so fucking great.

Also, all the PS3 Suda51 games, save for Lollipop kinda, are getting pretty hard to find and are also cheap. Killer is Dead and Shadows of the Damned are both the ones I've played, and they're both pretty fun. At least worth one playthrough just for the cool settings and decently clever writing.

Also in terms of Japanese imports, it's a great system to get Puyo Puyo Tetris on, and Toro, Let's Party! is also a fun one if you can get the Asian copy for cheap enough.

They also got physical versions of things like the DND beat-'em-ups that're on PSN, as well as the newer Nightstalkers game (which I think is just something they got a physical release of, I think that's on our PSN). There's also the HD remake of Okami which you can get an Asian copy of to play totally in English.

Drakengard 3 is a pretty fun hack and slash but if your not into repetition it will drive you crazy and the final boss is complete BS. To get to the true ending you have to play through 5 or so different branch stories which are essentially the same levels over and over again with changes to the enemies and story. The final branch also doesn't unlock until find and purchase pretty much every weapon in the game. The final boss still has me a little sore as well I never technically finished the game because of it. Basically after playing 40+ hours of a hack and slash you reach the final boss and it's pretty much a 10+ minute rhythm game with no check points and you have to restart if you miss a single note or are off by even 1/10th off a second so you better wire up that controller if you want a chance in hell. To make matters worse the camera is fixed and constantly rotating and zooming in and out on your character, the audio ques are have a delay before input is required, and the final few notes have no ques at all so unless you watch a video at first you just get to the end and suddenly have to start over for no clear reason. You can find videos online and match the timing up to where you can get ques from them but the timing is so sensitive that even that is nearly impossible :P. My suggestion is unless it really bugs you just watch the final 10 minutes of the game on you tube since it's a really beautiful song when your not getting slaughtered by a piss poor rhythm game that came out of no where.

Asuras Wrath great game I've played through it twice. Highly recommend it given that it can easily be found for sub $10 most places. Only bad thing is the true ending is in a DLC which adds another chapter which ties up a lot of loose ends. However I much prefer the ending that is on disc.

Fist of the North Star I've only gotten around to play testing this but the first 10-15 minutes were extremely fun.

Shadows of the Damned is a must, there's also Black Knight Sword (Castlevania style) and Sine Mora (shooter similar to Einhander). Killer is Dead is also cool kinda like a Hack n Slash Killer7, punk, goth, vampire vibes going on.

Bioshock 2 and Catherine are great additions.

There's also DLC where you fight Ryu and then Akuma from Street Fighter and it's the best thing. Part of the Ryu stuff is done in the AW brawler engine, and part of it is done in the SSIV engine. Also, I love that the Akuma DLC is called "Someone angrier than me?!"
